Acceptable Use Policy

Use CloudSend responsibly and only for messaging you are authorized to send.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This policy applies to all CloudSend users and customer businesses. Customers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and WhatsApp/Meta terms and policies.

Do not use CloudSend to

  • Send unlawful messages or content, or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Commit fraud, impersonate another person or business, or mislead recipients.
  • Phish, distribute malicious links or software, or attempt to obtain credentials or sensitive information without authorization.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit or abuse individuals or groups.
  • Run malicious campaigns, send unauthorized spam, or message people without the required permissions or consent.
  • Evade opt-outs, suppression records, rate controls, account restrictions or provider enforcement.
  • Abuse, disrupt or attempt unauthorized access to CloudSend, WhatsApp, Meta or related services.
  • Send illegal, harmful or rights-infringing content.

Customer duties

Use accurate contact data, respect recipient choices, maintain appropriate permission records, use eligible approved templates where required and promptly honor opt-out requests. Configure and monitor Agent Auto Reply responsibly. The suppression feature helps prevent campaign messages to listed numbers but does not replace your compliance obligations.

Enforcement

CloudSend's operator may investigate reported misuse and restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties or the service. Report suspected abuse to your CloudSend administrator or the operator using the support channel provided with your account.
